Bishop Ellis Catholic Voluntary Academy, a primary school in Thurmaston, Leicestershire, is a great place to be with a very welcoming atmosphere that is given to us by our fantastic children and wonderful staff. It is my privilege to be headteacher of our super school. I sincerely hope that by looking at our website you will want to come and see our school in action and this is something you are always welcome to do.
This lunchtime we had a visit from our local Police Community Support Officers. The children were very curious and interested about their visit and were very welcoming. These visits are important as they show the vital role of Police Community Support Officers in our community.
So proud of these students who participated in the U11 Girls - Pokemon Cup qualifying tournament at Wreake Valley yesterday. They came runners up in the tournament. There was great team effort and spirit from the girls throughout! ⚽🏆⭐

Our chaplaincy team had a fantastic day yesterday at St. Patricks church hall for their team day! A chance for the children to prepare for their roles within our school.
Thank you to Mini Vinnies for leading the Harvest Liturgy this morning. Harvest is a time for feasting, celebrating and giving thanks.
A huge well done to these students who took part in the U11 Mixed Pokemon Cup qualifying tournament at Wreake Valley. ⚽🏆
